Father stabbed to death, two daughters injured: home invasion and robbery in New York


A 61-year-old man died and his two daughters were injured when they were stabbed during an alleged robbery at their home in Brooklyn (NYC) early this morning.

Two thieves broke into the family’s home on 17th Avenue near 82nd Street, in the vecindario Bensonhurst, around 6 am today, demanding money from an alleged safe, according to the NYPD.

One of the invaders stabbed the father several times and killed him. His 19 and 22-year-old daughters were also stabbed during the raid. The names of the victims were not immediately mentioned.

The youngest daughter was rushed to Maimonides Medical Center, where she was in critical state. His older sister was taken to New York University Langone Hospital in stable condition.

The cops said that there was no safe in the house and the thieves fled. It was not clear why the family was attacked, reported New York Post.
