Two Swedish tourists are robbed in a New York subway station at Christmas

Two tourists from Sweden were robbed in a New York subway station on Christmas morningthis being one of three robberies reported in said transport, according to the police.
The aliens attacked, a 30-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, were standing on the platform of the southbound R train at 25th Street in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, around 9:30 a.m. when a robber approached them, “pretended to fire a firearm” and demanded they hand over their belongings, according to the NYPD.
The robber took the couple’s cell phones, wallets, cash and a purse, police said. to various media.
The suspect was wearing orange shoes, a gray coat, blue jeans and a black face mask and had an Adidas backpack, New York police said after questioning the victims.
The crime took place hours after a previous robbery on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.the New York police said.
In that case, a Queens man had his iPhone stolen by two 16-year-olds who proceeded to make a purchase on the man’s Amazon account, police said.
Cops said the victim had been waiting for a southbound train at West 72nd Street and Broadway when the teens seized her phone.
During a fight that followed, one of the teenagers hit the man with a clenched fistthe police said.
The teens then fled and used their victim’s phone to make an unauthorized Amazon purchase before being stopped by police at Columbus Circle, authorities said. It is not known what the criminals bought.
The teens, who were not identified based on their ages, were arrested and charged with theft, authorities said.
