Shooting at noon left 4 injured at NYCHA building in the Bronx


Four people were injured, one seriously, in a shooting in broad daylight yesterday at a public housing building (NYCHA) in the Bronx.

New York police are investigating the shooting that occurred on East 141st Street near Willis Avenue, neighborhood Mott Haven, around 12:40 p.m. Monday.

The victims are three men and one woman.. A 38-year-old man was shot in the abdomen, a 41-year-old man in the shoulder and a 39-year-old woman in the arm and hip, it said. Pix11.

The fourth victim, believed to be a 53-year-old homeless man, was shot multiple times and is in critical condition, it reported. Fox News. The relationship between the injured and the motive for the shooting are not clear.
