A great party for the game Mexico vs Argentina

This Astoria-based restaurant-brewery has extended hours and special events throughout the World Cup, and features a giant terrace, three premium bars, and more than 55 TVs in a massive 28,000-foot space. And this Saturday, November 26, it will host a “Team Mexico Watch Party”, an interactive party to watch the Mexico vs. Argentina, in association with the Adidas World Cup Truck, where fans will be able to get an authentic Aztec team jersey with free customization. “The Nutcracker” for autistic children

TDF, the nonprofit service organization for the performing arts, will provide the first autism-adapted performance of the world-renowned New York City Ballet production The Nutcracker de George Balanchine. Designed for families with members on the autism spectrum or with other cognitive or developmental disabilities, this special morning session will be presented through TDF’s Autism Friendly Performances (AFP) program, this Sunday, November 27 at 1 pm in the Theater David H. Koch of the Lincoln Center. The current AFP season will continue with Wicked on February 12, 2023 at 1pm, Harry Potter on April 30, and a final show to be determined. Tavern on the Green Tree Lighting

“Tavern on the Green” will celebrate the holiday spirit with its sixth annual tree lighting ceremony, next Tuesday, November 29. The lighting will be a beautiful 20-foot Christmas tree, topped with more than 2,000 ornaments and 10,000 lights that will shine throughout Central Park. The festivities will also include performances by DJ Tweed, The Manhattan Holiday Carolers and a special surprise Broadway show to spread holiday cheer and create lasting memories for guests. The Parrish Art Museum presents Kahlo: An Expanded Body (Kahlo: An Expanded Body), a groundbreaking investigation into the iconic artist Frida Kahlo through the lens of her dramatic medical history and its sustained impact on her life and work. The multi-gallery exhibition, on view through April 2, 2023, provides new insight into the importance of the body as enduring source material for Kahlo’s figurative and metaphorical representations of her physical and emotional life.
