OpenAI launches GPT-4: what it is like and what it does, the most humane and advanced version of ChatGPT

since a few weeks ChatGPT has been ringing very loudly, a word with which we should all become familiar, little by little, since it is one of the Artificial Intelligence robots that currently exists in the world.

Previously, all ChatGPT users could do was give you instructions or ask you questions via text; however, its developers They have created a new version of this chatbot that now has the ability to process images.

This new version, called ChatGPT-4, allows users, for example, to take a photo of something that contains written things, such as a cooking recipe, and ask the chatbot to provide opinions on this and other recipes, as well as give instructions.

Similarly, ChatGPT-4 has the option of being able to solve much more complex tasks. For example, if someone writes down on paper the data that they would like to see on a website that they intend to develop, the chatbot can read it and even create the necessary html code to generate it.

Originally, ChatGPT has the ability to answer questions or commands through a natural language, very similar to that used by human beings, and it is also capable of expressing certain styles of some famous writers or composers. However, its knowledge database is limited to the information that was on the internet until 2021.

GPT-4, like ChatGPT, is a type of generative artificial intelligence. It uses algorithms and predictive text to create new content based on instructions given to it. The potential of the tool depends to a large extent on the type of tasks that are requested of it.

Among the most demanded functions of the robot so far is the composition of songs, poems, texts for advertising, software coding and even help with homework, although the latter is something highly rejected by teachers.

Another great novelty is that now, ChatGPT-4 is capable of processing up to 25,000 words, 8 times more than its predecessor, and also its developers claim that it has “more advanced” reasoning abilities.

OpenAI also announced new partnerships with the Duolingo language learning app and with Be My Eyes, an app for people with visual disabilities, to create robots with artificial intelligence that can help its users to use natural language.

Despite the advances, the company indicated that GPT-4 is not entirely “reliable”, since it can invent facts or make mistakes when reasoning.

For now, this new version will only be available to those who are already subscribed to ChatGPT Plus, who pay $20 per month for its premium service.
